Me today in the library... epically LOSING the Paper, Rock, Scissors Tournament for my team to a fierce 5th grade competitor!! (Still was the highlight of my day🥰 and our librarian rocked her lesson!) @NISDBooneLib
#NISDFamily- Northside ISD will begin the 2020-2021 school year on Monday, August 24 with distance learning. There will be no in-person instruction until at least the Tuesday after Labor Day, Sept. 8. More from Dr. Woods & the Board of Trustees- https://t.co/MU87NFkuMk
Silver linings of the toughest end of school ever:🌈 Our resilient 5th grdrs are ready to conquer MS, parents decorated our school fence line with posters & messages of love, and our staff voted on the BEST school theme for next year: “TOGETHER WE RISE!”🙌🏼 Yes we sure will!💪🏼❤️
Hey @TODAYshow, don’t report that all schools in Texas have closed early because distance learning is too difficult. Instead, come check out what the teachers of @NISD are doing daily to make sure students are connected and continue to learn.
We started back from our break with fun and engaging activities that were sure to get us off on the right foot. From exploring with a science lab to enjoying a presentation from Nancy Clayton on the Civil War and drummer boys, we really had a blast all day! @NISDBOONE#gopublic
