It took a bit of an investment but it paid off long term anyway, I started to purchase loads of branding for my company and leave them in my property, such as cushions with the logo, cups with the logo, wall stickers with the logos and barcodes as well.

Obviously your property has to be aesthetically pleasing though, think to yourself would you stay there, would you sleep eat and enjoy yourself there for a month if you had to and be HONEST. If the answer is NO then how could you expect someone else to pay you to stay there🤷🏾‍♂️

So I started to pivot to longer term bookings and marketing my listings differently and this way it would allow me to lock in higher occupancy rates for my listing and in doing so increased profit.

Thought since I’m seeing good success and traction it’s only right to share it and provide the knowledge on how you can get it done yourself with a few implementations to your business.

The main issue I noticed I was having was consistent GOOD bookings and that by only utilising my OTAs I wouldn’t be able to gain the long term bookings I wanted. Getting Bookings is easy enough but managing consistent changeovers with the wear and tear becomes a real drag.
