Autumn Tea Party! Our host, Jill C. spoke about All Saints' Day and how the British celebrate this holiday. During our tea party, residents enjoyed Scottish Shortbread, ham salad sandwiches, and English Tea.

Bradford Woods Fall Retreat! Our residents had lunch at the beautiful Bradford Woods Campus and then went zip lining. Resident's Iris B. and David W. loved zip lining down the colorful valley at Bradford Woods IU Outdoor Center. We had so much fun!!
Residents were excited to go on our annual trip to the Dougherty's Orchard in Cambridge City. They enjoyed petting the animals and eating Dougherty's classic apple dumplings. For the road, our residents took home apple cider slushies.
We are lucky to acquire two new volunteers this week, James C. and Alexia B. James C. will speak on different subjects and Alexia B. will be giving our residents manicures. Thanks to both of you for enriching our residents' lives!

Happy Halloween Scavenger Hunt! To start the spooky season off, our residents went on a Halloween Scavenger Hunt and visited 10 different locations/clues, around our facility. Everyone who participated had fun and received a Halloween surprise at the end of the hunt.
Autumn Retreat Concert! We ended our Retreat by enjoying the performance of concert pianist, Jooyoung Kim at New Castle's, First Presbyterian Church. Jooyoung was amazing and performed pieces by Schubert, Bauer, Chopin, & Zaimont flawlessly. What a perfect end to our Retreat!
Autumn Retreat Flower Arrangements! We want to thank Jessica Strausbaugh for leading the Autumn Flower Arrangement Class, during our retreat. Our residents always have a great time at Jessica's events, and their floral arrangements were beautiful! Thank You, Jessica!
Autumn Retreat Day! Our residents started their retreat day by touring Rushville's covered bridges & then having ice cream at the local Dairy Queen. Later in the day, our retreat will consist of Autumn Bingo, Autumn Flowering Arranging, Autumn Water Color, & a classical concert.
Celebrating Hispanic Heritage! Our Employee Recognition Party consisted of Hispanic treats and games this month. Employees participated in Mexican Bingo and taking a turn at braking the piñata! Thank You, Daisy for hosting our ER3 and exploring Hispanic Heritage Month!
