FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 53 YEARS, THE KNICKS ARE NBA CHAMPIONS 🏆
New York defeats San Antonio 4-1 in the NBA Finals, capturing their third championship in franchise history!
Giants WR Malik Nabers (ACL) isn't practicing yet.
But “I still think he’ll be fine Week 1,” GM Joe Schoen told me. “So we’ll see. He’s trending in the right direction. Again, these things take time, so it’s not instant. Every patient is different.”

Basis on the #Giants - Odell Beckham Jr reunion, per sources ..
It had to word for both sides. OBJ, obviously, made it clear he wanted back. Malik Nabers recovery/doubts for Week 1 + Darius Slayton’s injury (core muscle) made WR a need.
Beckham “looked good” at his workout. Now he’s back.
Reunion time in East Rutherford: The #Giants are signing WR Odell Beckham Jr. after this morning’s workout, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
Beckham’s second audition for Big Blue results in a signing and his return to the organization almost 8 years after he was traded away.
OBJ did indeed take part in a receiver-centric workout held by the Giants this morning. A look at that and the other receivers who were reportedly part of the workout. https://t.co/OEtUmmHUGY
A little BTS with OBJ: There was a special VIP section on the concourse where fans were lined up hundreds deep. Beckham took pictures and signed for almost 2 hours. He later made his way to the field and chopped it up with the other players, including Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers.
The number one question I received throughout the day was: "Are they going to sign Odell?"
Fans still love the guy. The clear consensus seems to be they want him to finish his career with the Giants, where it all began. Real chance it happens.
The Knicks beat the OG of basketball goliaths, Wilt Chamberlain, to win their only two NBA championships. They'll have to beat this New Age giant, Victor Wembanyama, to win their third.
@Patricia_Traina Sterling Shepard makes the list! Wow Giants fans and writers really feeling the nostalgia lately, albeit from eras of bad football for the organization.
Don’t hate bringing Shep back for the culture element though, could see him as a Harbaugh type of guy
