🔷 1.5.7: We have released version 1.5.7, which increases the network limit to prevent nodes from crashing.

🔷 v1.6.0-beta.1: This release is mainnet compatible, with the key feature being support for poet certificates (https://t.co/jHQwvwF9vK). Additionally, it should start faster due to a more effective `cache warmup` step. Currently, it is released as a beta, we advise only adventurous smeshers to give it a shot, and preferable while running another node on 1.5.7.

🔷 ATX Merge: Progressing as planned, still targeting the 1.7 release.

🔷 Testnet-12: Testnet-12 is still active. If you’re participating, please actively check the configuration to ensure you are up to date: https://t.co/vv7oEJhJuO

🔷 API v2: We are finalizing the testing for publicly-available nodes that will expose API v2 by default.

🔷 Light Wallet: We expect the initial version very soon and will first share it with community testers for evaluation.

🔷 Poet Certifier: As stated earlier, the 1.6.0-beta.1 release is mainnet compatible and supports PoET certificates.

🔷 Sync v2: The initial version of the multi-peer sync mechanism has been implemented, along with minhash-based "syncedness" estimation. However, it is not yet integrated with ATX/malfeasance handlers. We are currently working on an in-database version of the synctree structure so that synchronization data for the entire ATX set does not need to be held in memory.

🔷 Quic: More nodes now have QUIC support enabled.

Given the current database size, we recommend using fast, low-latency drives, preferably NVMe or low-latency SATA SSDs, for the state database.
