@UKLabour It’s actually an old path and it ends up not being public control but union control as you would already know if you ever look further back than the Thatcher years. The end of every Labour government is 10 years of pain trying to fix the damage they’ve caused to the economy.
@elliereeves@KG_Sydenham Remember when adults who produced children used to consider it a matter of pride and duty to go to work to earn enough to keep a roof over their family’s head and food in their stomachs? Many still do of course- but then end up paying for the feckless or better off who don’t.
@Miatsf Have you heard of the law of diffusion of gasses? Sure they’d have taught it in Science lessons at school but maybe you missed it. Just in case - Molecules in a liquid or gas move down a concentration gradient until they are equally spread. I.e. UK net zero = almost 0 effect.
@sewateruk@DefraGovUK Have just received your latest email informing us of even stricter water regulations as we head towards winter. Every reason under the sun but out of your control cited yet properties supplied by Southern Water despite the same weather issues have not had even a hosepipe ban. 🤔
@EmmaforWycombe How many hours of basis rate taxpayers lives were wasted on funding this Number 10 of the North ego trip? When is Cornwall going to get a Number 10 of the West or Norfolk a number 10 of the East? Stop completely wasting our hard earned money!
@EmmaforWycombe Does that include taking local planning decisions away from local councils and giving the Secretary of State the authority to approve the extension of the time that Crowborough camp will house migrants to at least 4 years instead of the 1 year that your government lied about?
@LabourfutureUK Of course your leader before the current usurper was so popular that he was ditched by his own MPs after just two years and 16 days. Stones and glasshouses comes to mind. How are the other ministers doing? 🤔
@SteveReedMP But you are prepared to use taxes from the diminishing number of workers to pay for increasing numbers of people who are perfectly able to work to sit on their backsides receiving benefits while cancelling military training to defend ourselves from increasingly hostile states.
@SteveReedMP You forgot the ‘or we will change the rules anyway’. I bet it wouldn’t be an issue if Labour received the money. BTW Angela Rayner on TV and at the TUC conference pontificating for Labour on the need for fiscal openness and integrity is not exactly the the best look in the world.
@bphillipsonMP From the party whose former leader and Prime Minister with millions of pounds in the bank thought it OK to let a Party Donor buy his clothes and glasses for him…
@annaturley@ukhomeoffice@ChrisWebbMP And dumping hundreds of them on small rural communities at costs that are higher than keeping them in hotels was. Smoke and mirrors from a useless, toothless, clueless government.
@RidgeandFrost@annaturley What she hasn’t said is that it’s costing at least the same and even more to move them to disused army camps as all the kitchens, security (to keep unwanted people out - which a bit ironic), entertainment etc to keep them occupied in the rare case they stay needs to be in place.
@PiddingtonRoars In Crowborough we’ve had 540 dumped on our doorstep but haven’t seen the groups of bored potential criminals that we expected - in fact apart from house prices going through the floor and even then not selling nothing much has changed. Where they are disappearing to is the worry.
@andyburnham Who is actually asking for thousands of illegal migrants to be accepted into our communities or for thousands of foreign criminals to be in our jails causing a need for early release of prisoners and despair for their victims? Who actually asked for Andy Burnham as PM?
@LouiseMattxp@NormanBrennan This disgusting comment on the day that a former democratically elected MP who was brutally murdered is laid to rests sums up perfectly the hatred and inhumanity at the heart of the hard left. Unrepentant hard nosed extremist? Look in the mirror.
