As part of Phase 2 of our ongoing ICMR-funded study, "Evaluating the Impact of Digital Intervention versus WHO PEN Approach in Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Control in Resource-Limited Settings: A Quasi-Experimental Study," our team came together for a hands-on training on our newly developed digital intervention.
The session walked our staff and interns through the digital intervention dashboard its features, layout, and purpose before moving into the methodology for the usability assessment phase, including how data collection would be carried out using quantitative data collection tools. The team was also trained on standardized procedures for usability assessment among study participants, and how to troubleshoot technical hiccups that come up in the field.

With thousands of wellness apps on the market, how can you tell which ones are accurate?
From tracking calories to offering meal plans, health and nutrition apps promise a lot, but not all of them are built on science or developed with real experts.
Before you put your health in the hands of an app, ask yourself: 📱 Is the information associated with verified sources? 📱 Were health professionals involved in its development? 📱 How is your data protected?
