Engines 3, 1, 2, 5, Truck 1, BC2, SMPD and AMR responded to a fully involved vehicle fire located under apartments on the 300 block E Bunny. Crews quickly knocked down the fire and checked for extension above. Cause under investigation. No injuries to report.
On this day 57 years ago, your SMFD lost one of our own. Joseph Alexander passed away due to a medical condition while operating at a structure fire. Rest in Peace brother.
