Things are very different in the science department this year but there is still some wonderful work being produced. Just look at this summary of heat transfer done by Daniel in 11T.
First ticket up for a practical was Dr Smith this year. She was very proud. Unfortunately practicals might not be as you would expect for a wee while but we will try our best.
All Year 11 Double Award students are now sharing a classroom on google. Please log on to the shared area to find the code. It is important all students have access to this and are completing the work set.
Looking forward to seeing how the newest member of our Dept. gets on with his first lesson in the morning.
Yr8-Yr14 start your first day of remote learning energised. 🔋

Good luck to all students (and parents) starting their learning journey at home. KS3 - work is set out lesson by lesson under the classwork tab in your google classrooms. KS4/5 will all have been given instruction by your teachers with key documents online. 📚
Can all parents please ask students to download google classroom to their phones, iPads or tablets. Most senior students have already been given codes for individual classes.
A brilliant day yesterday at the St Malachy’s High School careers fair! A big thank you to all the students who put me to the test with their challenging questions!
What a great day we had at our careers convention. Thank you to our visitors from @QUBCCE and @barbra_hamill@eyesinNI. And a big thanks to our wonderful year 13 science students Erin, Ethan and Connaire.
A quote found in the 2020 QUB prospectus. Barbra is one of the ambassadors visiting @SMHSchool on Tuesday 10th March for our yr 10 & yr 12 careers convention.
