@BrainAblaze Food and food containers. My son is on medical keto so we cook and pack everything he eats. You’d be amazed how short the life of a food storage container (even glass) really is! And the cost of specialized ingredients! Yikes!

@BrainAblaze It’s not “just seizures.” Seizures are the tip of the iceberg, and there so much more that comes with it from medications, side effects, motor controls, anxiety, ADHD, autism, behaviors… all linked to his diagnosis.

@BrainAblaze Depakote - son’s blood levels were supposedly in a good range, but his little body reacted and “went toxic”. He lost 15 lbs, and at one point was sleeping 18 hours, couldn’t walk, could barely talk or feed himself. No one was listening to our distress and we nearly lost him.

@mmschocolate If you’d just made your change and left it alone for a month or so, it would have calmed down and the I’m-pissed-about-candy crowd would’ve found something else to blow out of proportion.

@BrainAblaze My son’s behavior 1-3 days without seizures is horrible, but tends to improve by day 4 -or- after having a seizure. The seizure is like a reset. He hasn’t been more than 5 days without seizures since May 2019.
