hearing a lot from friends that guys are declaring earlier and earlier that theyre "not looking for anything serious" and think it's honorable to communicate this. it's not though. you're a man in your late twenties and u cant commit to a relationship...thats actually kind of sad

other people have different wants and needs and sometimes it doesn’t include a long-term partner. maybe they still have sexual needs…

Something I’ve been unpacking lately is how disorienting it is to be someone’s limerent object. I see it as similar to the golden child dynamic: you are showered with praise, attention, care and adoration - but only for the person you are not.
