The @RoyceInstitute Sustainable Materials Innovation Hub provides Greater Manchester SMEs with sustainability solutions for plastics use and end of life.
Next, the group toured some of the Hub’s cutting-edge facilities, including @SMI_Hub, seeing first-hand how Royce supports the implementation and development of game-changing materials with applications across sectors as varied as #manufacturing, #energy, #transport and #health
The #SMIHub will lead on Material Sustainability, supporting innovators to develop low-impact construction products, examining key issues such as recycling/reuse and the utilisation of more sustainable raw materials and manufacturing practices.
