Week one of the season was spent as a "practice via game" scenario vs divisional opponent DET. It wasn't ugly, but it certainly wasn't pretty either. Fast paced game as both teams kept the clock running & played somewhat safe. In the end, DET hung on to a 17-10 victory in GB.

With limited choices left in the SML Primer coach draft, the organization has hired coach KJ. Ownership has made the promise of no matter how poorly he operates the team functions, he will not be fired. However, league administration did not make the same promise. #goodluckcoach

We have met with the league commissioner. At this time there will be no further punishment or team sanctions.

Nothing to update regarding our current 4-9 season other than the following: after an outside owner investigation, the team has announced that HB B. Hall will be suspended for the remainder of the season as he has admitted to taking PED's this season.

After a pitiful start to the season losing our first 6 games by an avg of nearly 22ppg & also losing two of our offensive targets for 4 & 5 weeks respectively, we reached a much needed BYE week. The team was told to rest & try to forget the early season woes. @simmaddenleague

Social media team is back, again..
We finished the season with a 7-10 record that miraculously won us the division. But for the 2nd time this season we hosted a stout Bronces team, this time in the WC round, that ended our season with a dominating 27-10 win. @simmaddenleague

Better late than never, right? Wk1 we hosted the divisional champs of NE. Three INT from Bacon ultimately put the team in a tough spot. "NE is not a team you want to lose the TO battle against, as they are very efficient & will capitalize on your mistakes." @simmaddenleague

Wk6 we hosted SEA it got ugly quick. A Rodgers got hurt on the 1st drive & will miss the next few weeks. Backup Z Wilson filled in & while not missing a lot, threw 3 costly INT. Former PS QB R Lang had a career day vs us completing all 9 passes for 259/4.

Wk5: It was a wild shootout in H1 but the NYJ defense stepped up in H2, leading to a 63-34 W.

Wk4: We host TEN in a battle of winless teams & are able to pick up our first W of the season. The team fell behind early but had a strong 2nd-3rd quarter. The Titans scored late to get within 3 but the Jets were able to move the sticks and run the clock out.

MIN visited NYJ in wk3. Both QB's played well, combining for 526/4/0. Vikings RB Kamara had a day with 101yds/1TD on just 4 carries, including an 81yd TD. Rookie TE Blizzard lost a fumble as the Jets were driving in H2, which very well led to the 27-17 loss. @simmaddenleague

Wk2 NYJ hosted defending AFCE champs NE. The Jets fell behind 2 scores late, but the team fought hard & overall had a quality showing. K Santos had an opportunity to extend the game into OT but an iced kick that bounced off the left goal post ended it at 24-21. @simmaddenleague

Wk1: We traveled to LA to face the defending NFC champs. It was an abysmal performance all around as the offense was never able to get going & LAR rookie QB Jarrad Peete tore us apart completing 75% of his passes for 261/3/0. Cam Akers also had a day with 142/1. @simmaddenleague
