[WestMED Blue Economy Initiative @WestMedStrat]

A new chapter for the #EasternMediterranean Blue Economy.

Following the initial discussions at #EMD2026 in Cyprus, a new feasibility study commissioned by @EU_MARE /@cinea_eu is now underway to assess the potential for an Eastern Mediterranean Blue Economy Sea Basin Strategy.

Led by #EcorysHrvatska, Croatia - with contributions from @SML_Strategies and SDMED MARIS, the study will engage authorities, regional organisations, academia, financial institutions, the private sector and civil society to map opportunities for sustainability, innovation, resilience and stronger regional cooperation.
