End of Year 2 Service. Here at SMMI we celebrate our childrenβs achievements everyday through Dojos, stickers, verbal praise, stamps & weekly with certificate. Here are a few other achievements that some of our children have been awarded.
Class 9 have started to pack up their home corner. They have sold up and are getting ready to move (up the corridor!). There are boxes everywhere at the moment but I'm sure they'll be very happy in their new home! πβοΈπ
It was lovely to welcome so many of our childrenβs families to share our Prayer & Liturgy this afternoon. A very special time to reflect on our past achievements and to think about our new transition to our Junior schools.
Today Eco Council met for their last meeting of the year. We learnt that plastic pollution is having a devastating impact on our ecosystems, sea creatures and food chain. Then, we researched what we can do to prevent rubbish being dumped into our oceans π π’
In Class 7 this week, we have been wonderful scientists and we have been testing whether different materials are waterproof and which material would be the best to make an umbrella for Ted.
The children in class 7 have been learning about Kandinsky this half term. They have completed their final piece inspired by Kandinsky's swirls using paint in their sketch books. We have some excellent artists in our class!
