there was a point in time where this was as unthinkable as a sub hour Plats, a 340 Charge, a Billiards 9 break TAS. after 10,723 attempts, most of them in an intense 3 month grind, it's finally over. and it came down to this retime

Also, if you use these situations as an excuse to attack entire groups of marginalised people, you're a piece of shit, and just like what I've mentioned above, this causes unease for victims and/or people who have had no involvement in it. 4/4

Something else to keep in mind with today's news is kneejerk *speculation* and gossip when things like this arise. That is bad.

It cannot be overstated how hard it is for victims to come forward. With social media, what this causes is pressure to do so under time pressure. 1/4

The statements in here, to anyone with a shred of decency, are downright disgusting. For victims, coming forward with anything is not an easy task by any means, and I hope these people can move on and heal now this is public.

It is up to the people putting statements forward to do so, and that is all. When speculation happens before news is public, especially on social media, that is there for all to see. It serves no benefit to speculate. 3/4
