@ZarkFiles I'm 60 & was in a MAP program in the 3rd grade. The class was filled with music instruments, puppets, games, records & books. We completed our school work on our own time. How can an 8 yr old have that discipline? I didn't & that year impacted me for the rest of my education.

@ZarkFiles We are the same age. My take is that the 70s was a massive culture change - for the first time life was about being happy. Before that it was about survival - men worked just to put food on the table and a roof over their families head. 50 years later, it has gotten much worse

@newstart_2024 My husband and I were both 45 when we had our son. He was so proud that he had the oldest parents when he was younger that he would write our ages on every picture he drew for us. lol. He could care less that we are older.
