Straight-up bribery to buy a ceasefire.

The US and Qatar reportedly facilitated the deal with guarantees. After weeks of missiles, blockades, and civilian deaths, money talks louder than “maximum pressure.”

🇺🇸🇮🇱 Trump just told Netanyahu, on the record, that if he restarts the Iran war he can fight it without America

In a phone interview with Axios, the president said he delivered the warning after Israel's Sunday strike on Beirut set off the weekend's dangerous missile exchange with Iran.

His words to the Israeli leader:

"Bibi, you better be careful, or you will be on your own very soon."

That is about as direct as it gets.

Trump is signaling he will not be dragged back into a war he wants out of, and that Israel's protection is not unconditional if Netanyahu keeps lighting fuses.

The Beirut strike crossed the exact line Iran warned would reignite everything, and Trump answered by aiming the threat at his own ally instead.

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began.
