🏈 The road to football season starts now!

Today marked the first day of summer workouts for SMS football. It was great to see our 7th and 8th grade athletes getting an early start as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Our 4x1 relay team broke their own school record from last year with an incredible time of 50.36. Kenzie Henkle shattered her own 200m dash school record with a blazing 25.88 and is headed to the State Finals!

Congratulations to 7th grader Madi Schleibaum on an incredible performance tonight!

After battling through some tough competition, Madi broke the school record in the 800 meters with an amazing time of 2:36.61, surpassing the previous record held by Ashton Chase!

The boys’ track & field team brought home the 2025 and 2026 Tri-County Championships tonight at Columbus East High School, defeating Jennings Count, Columbus Northside, and Columbus Central.
