On Tuesday, 5th graders from @AESPanthers, @LMESEagles, and @HES_Hawks visited SMS to learn about life in "the nest," to get tours from 6th graders, and try one of our cafe's famous cookies. We were excited to meet these future falcons and can't wait to see them again in August!

Thanks to Kane, a student who resarched the specs and then used his own 3D printer to create an ADA-compliant room sign, featuring braille, that we needed to replace an old sign after repurposing a room.
FROG Team Time students built cardboard boats to float a passenger across the pool. Considering passenger mass & cardboard density, they built a craft that distributed weight to stay buoyant! 2 boats lasted for over 45 minutes!
