Observations on the interview by Nicola Sturgeon today.
This is not about her being responsible for her husband’s crimes, this is about her responsibility as party leader and FM. She and others bullied and intimidated members of the NEC and silenced those who asked questions.1/5

Peter Murrell has been granted legal aid after being charged with embezzlement, and there are now concerns Scottish taxpayers could end up footing the bill because the SNP still haven’t repaid the £60,000 they owe him.
Let that sink in.
At a time when families are struggling with the cost of living and public services are under huge pressure, taxpayers could now be paying for the consequences of the SNP’s financial scandal.
The public deserve answers about why this money still hasn’t been repaid, who knew what at the top of the SNP, and why ordinary Scots should be expected to pick up the tab for this mess.
Just some of Murrell’s spending on @thesnp credit and charge cards…. 🙄

1/ The infamous SNP crowdfunder raised £482k in 2017, to be ringfenced for a future referendum campaign. Yet by 31st December 2017, the SNP had just £8k of cash in the bank. This was fully public information, clearly displayed in the 2017 accounts, published on 21st August 2018.
