@ChromaCamera Thank you for the information regarding 65 mm. I understand 35 mm and Medium format and camera functions pretty well but I’m reasonably new to large format and lenses.
@ChromaCamera just bought my Snapshot 45 and looking forward to using it with 90mm. I’m new to this game and heard that 65 mm will give all over focus. Is this true as it would be useful for street photography?
@duckrabbitblog In 2012 I spent a night on Triund after a storm came rolling in unexpectedly. I slept in an old rickety lean-to, sharing the space with my pony. It was a fantastic adventure. Here’s a photo of the morning after. I hope your trek continues to be wonderful.
@phillipoKneen@mchlbrnclrk The Vivitar flash and ‘auto thyristor’! My first flash gun too. Loved the little coloured distance calculators, surprisingly reliable. In my case used with my first camera - a Pentax K1000.
Over the past five years I have been participating in and making images of the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire and the dignified activism shown by the community of which I am proud to be a part of. People are angry, frustrated and tired of waiting. @GrenfellUnited
It’s nearly five years since the night of June 14 2017 when a fire started in Grenfell Tower in Kensington and Chelsea, consuming the building; racing up flammable cladding which was installed in contravention of building regulations and as a cost-saving measure. @GrenfellUnited
@duckrabbitblog Wonderful!! I had my first daughter aged 24, my second aged 28. I’m 58 now and a double grandad! My love for my grandchildren is a wonderful feeling as it is imbued with memories of my daughter when she was that age. I’m so proud of them both and recognise how lucky I am.
