Romania 's Supreme Defense Council meeting is set to begin shortly.

The main points of discussion will be the authorisation of the deployment of US military forces on the US military bases in Romania.

As well as providing assistance for the US military operations in Iran, including deployment of fighter jets on the bases.

Progressives and liberals are cheering, conservatives are split between supporting the US military operations and worrying whether Romania will become a legitimate military target for the Iranian Regime.

Either way, the fact that the Supreme Defense Council is going to decide on these matters unilaterally is disturbing.
Because it's the same institution that provided the false narrative that led to annulment of the Presidential elections in Romania in 2024.

The same people whom the Romanian people do not trust.
