Four of us had to wrestle a 16 year old into an ambulance who wanted nothing more than to die just to end years of mental illness. Why are pols not dedicated to fixing the mental health problem in this country? I say again, THIS is a REAL problem.

@AdamPlantinga Mine was a DUI arrest. When the car finally stopped, I realized I didn't know where I was and my back-up was looking for me. I had to run to the intersection to look at the street sign and of course, one was missing! I was only 100 feet away from the suspect, but still. 🤦🏼‍♂️

@ResponsePS It's a job that WAS who I was because I wanted to "change the world", be involved in everything & be the absolute best. Now, w 21 yrs on & a Sgt I'm less naive, done everything I care to. I do my best and hope to be a positive influence on new officers. I hope they are my legacy.

@jUsT_A_bIkE_cOp Similar situation with cars. I've seen some crashes where the occupants walk away without a scratch but you would swear , based on the destruction to the vehicle, they should be dead. Airbags are an underappreciated technology.

@BlondeinKevlar To be fair, 2 of our Explorers needed full axles replaced with under 10K miles. 75K could be A LOT for the new gen. cruisers.
