The Senate primary to replace 83-year-old Mitch McConnell shows how profoundly the GOP base in his home state has soured on one of the most powerful and significant political figures in Kentucky history.

BREAKING: Tulsi Gabbard just refused 3 times to state whether or not she was included in the Signal group chat. Mark Warner did a great job here.
What cowards.
BREAKING: 34,000 people have showed up in Denver, Colorado this evening to see Bernie Sanders and AOC fight oligarchy and authoritarianism.
Impressive! People are clearly angry at how things are going.
Velázquez: Donald Trump did not care a bit about safer communities when he released those who were convicted of beating the shit out of police officers. So, don’t come to us and talk about security and safer communities when you do that
Blake Lively’s “A Simple Favor 2” castmate Michele Morrone claimed the actress was “in pain” after filming “It Ends With Us” as he spoke out in support of her sexual harassment complaint against director Justin Baldoni. 🗣️
So, while Trump was busy pounding the podium about cracking down on "illegals" during his 2016 campaign, turns out his modeling agency, Trump Model Management, was allegedly hiring foreign workers on tourist visas—a clear violation of immigration law.
The models claimed they were working illegally, crammed into overpriced apartments, and left in debt to the agency.
Let that sink in: the same man screaming about undocumented workers had no problem benefiting from them when it padded his bottom line.
Hypocrisy much?
It’s just another chapter in the long book of Trump saying one thing and doing the exact opposite when it suits him.
BREAKING: Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy tap dances on Matt Gaetz's political grave after his resignation from Congress and withdrawal from Attorney General consideration — and mentions "young girls."
This is brutal...
"At this moment in time, you look at [Trump's] poll approval of what he’s doing with this new transition he’s bringing, [he] got rid of the problem," McCarthy said on Fox News, referring to Gaetz. "Now, he’s in a very good place and the approval’s high."
McCarthy and Gaetz have been locked in a bitter feud ever since the latter played a large roll in ousting the former from his Speakership last year.
"You’re saying the problem was Matt Gaetz?" host Jesse Watters asked McCarthy.
"Well, that’s a fear for all young girls," said McCarthy.
"Oh, stop it!" said Watters, never one to shy away from defending an alleged sexual predator.
McCarthy added that Gaetz's alleged victims "need their justice.
Watters pushed back, arguing that "you guys hate each other" and that there should be a "pay-per-view fight" between them.
"No, let’s be very honest," McCarthy said. "There’s no reason why that man should’ve ever been nominated. Those girls need justice and that is not the place for him."
For once, we agree with Kevin McCarthy.

BREAKING: Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts unleashes her full star power in her home state of Georgia to campaign for Kamala Harris for president.
This is exactly the kind of thing that drives Trump insane...
"I believe in Georgia. I wouldn’t have come home if I didn’t believe that we can accomplish really beautiful goals that will extend beyond our state’s borders," Roberts said during an appearance in Canton, Georgia.
"I just hope that all the women here tonight talk to all the men that aren’t here tonight," she went on. "And all you brave men who are here tonight, talk to all the other men who aren’t here tonight."
Roberts urged her audience to "talk to all the people"in their lives, regardless of their party affiliation.
"Maybe they don’t understand things quite the way you do," said Roberts. "Bring them into a conversation. Make sure they’re registered to vote — even if they’re not voting for the person you think they should vote for. It is the United States of America, and we’ve been lacking in the ‘united’ part for so long."
"Talk to the people who don’t believe what you believe and gently lure them, gently, gently make them see what we see so clearly, because some people just don’t, and it doesn’t make them bad or wrong, it just means they’re not there yet, but we can get there,” said Roberts.
