In this Budget, the SNP is expanding the best package of cost of living support anywhere in the UK.
✅ More wraparound childcare.
✅ Free breakfast clubs in every primary school.
✅ More people paying less income tax because they live in Scotland.
A short summary in a thread 👇
NEW: October 2025 saw the highest number of operations take place in a single month since January 2020 - 25,261 procedures.

This summer, thousands of young Scots will have access to a range of free sport activities, including a learn to swim offer for every primary school child.
West Dunbartonshire is being significantly let down by the political choices made by the Labour Administration.
But that doesn’t fit the snp bad narrative🤷🏻♀️
It was wonderful to visit the new Faifley Campus this morning with @STrayn0r 🏫📚
The space has been designed fantastically, creating a fun, innovative and collaborative learning environment for the children and young people.
Honoured to lay a wreath alongside Cllr Kevin Crawford at Old Kilpatrick’s Remembrance Service this morning ❤️
We must never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today. My thoughts are with all those affected by war and conflict, past & present.
Fantastic night catching up with friends, colleagues & activists at the Clydebank & Milngavie SNP fundraiser for @MarieAMcNair’s re-election campaign 💛
Just under 6 months to go - let’s make sure Clydebank, Milngavie and Bearsden North keeps a strong, local voice in Holyrood 🏴
It was wonderful to attend a civic reception in Clydebank Town Hall last night to mark 25 years of the incredible @ysortit, thanks to a motion raised by my colleague @STrayn0r 💜
During today’s full council meeting I moved a motion highlighting concerns in the rise in anti-migrant, racists rhetoric exhibited nationally and across the globe.
We must acknowledge that our community is not immune to the issue of racism, hate and intolerance.
So pleased to see Old Kilpatrick’s Place Plan validated at today’s Planning Committee🌿🏘️
A huge thank you to OK Community Council for all the time, effort & passion that’s gone into this - and to everyone in the village who took part in the consultations and shared their ideas.
Very pleased that West Dunbartonshire has been chosen as one of the new areas to benefit from @theSNP Scottish Government’s Fairer Futures Partnerships 🌟
This was announced by First Minister @JohnSwinney at yesterday’s Whole Family Support summit in Glasgow.
On top of that, residents have faced a massive 11.5% council tax hike this year - the second highest in Scotland - while receiving fewer services than ever.
Residents are paying more but getting less, thanks to Labour. Our communities deserve better.
🚨 From 10th November, general waste bins will only be collected every 3 weeks - a cut Labour forced through, despite SNP councillors raising various concerns and voting against it.
After a summer of overgrown parks, uncut grass and neglected green spaces, this is just the latest example of Labour failing the communities of West Dunbartonshire.
The people of Scotland - not Westminster - must decide our future 🏴

West Dunbartonshire knows the value of having a say 🗳️
West Dunbartonshire was one of the four areas to vote Yes in 2014, showing our communities’ long-standing belief in having the power to shape our own country. Today, that belief is as strong as ever.
Independence means we can:
🏡 Build stronger communities and more secure homes
💡 Use Scotland’s renewable energy wealth to reduce bills
❤️ Safeguard our NHS and public services for generations
🇪🇺 Take our place on the European and world stage
