The future of water purification - 3D printed filters
A team of researchers at the @ShivNadarUniv has developed a Ti₃C₂Tₓ-chitosan aerogel that tackles two threats at once: chemical dyes and pathogens in wastewater. Their research, published in the Clean Water Journal, shows that, while salt ions in seawater can slow it down slightly, its ability to provide clean water in rural industrial areas for pennies is a massive leap forward for global health.
