May I repeat: Steve Kroft guided the Clintons through their Gennifer Flowers-defusing interview in 1992. Kroft did s pile of fawning interviews with candidate and president Obama. Syrupy for Dems. Savage with the GOP. That's their brand.
"Break into my house."
"I dare you."
"I double dog dare you."
"I'm begging you, buckaroo, break into my house."
"I will leave the door unlocked & open."
"I will be my bedroom, wearing a schirmmütze and leopard bikini underwear."
"I'll have a scented candle lit . . ."
"By the time your daughter is twelve, she may already believe that the women fighting for rights in Iran are the aggressors. That the gay teenager fleeing Gaza deserves to stay there. That Western democracy is the world’s villain. Not because she was told. Because the story was built into her education, piece by piece, before she had the tools to question it. This is indoctrination with better branding."

The NYT did a huge disservice to Lyndsey in how they packaged the story about Graham Platner.
What she describes is physical abuse, and they buried it 22 grafs deep under a headline describing "unsettling behavior."
Platner allies already dismissing this as a nothing burger
This is repulsive. This is disgraceful. This is a person whose soul is so captured by partisan politics that she will sacrifice women on that alter to protect an abusive man who happens to have a D next to his name.
