Just saw a local pastor preach on the importance of God’s word in our lives. Started the message by “pledging allegiance to the Bible”. And then proceeded to preach for 30 minutes without once opening his Bible.
Left it closed — sitting right there next to him.
I just heard someone say to someone else, “Hey, come be a Christian with me. It is the greatest life!”
Why don’t we hear this and say this more?! It truly is the greatest life.

“Take heed to yourselves, lest your example contradict your doctrine… lest you unsay with your lives, what you say with your tongues.”(The Reformed Pastor)
We must not give thanks to God only when situations seem good to us; we must give thanks to God for being good in every situation with us.
“Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever...” Ps 100:4-5
