@uwcommentor I doubt he's getting firm no's. He's 2 weeks out from the deadline and teams haven't gotten desperate yet and the M's aren't willing to eat a considerable amount of cash/attach a prospect yet to move him as of yet.

@SeaTownKev Only players I'm moving Kirby for are Byron Buxton or Fernando Tatis Jr. There isn't much of anything out there from a RH bat standpoint that is worth Kirby.

And please don't try to sell me on Casey Schmitt and his 80 wRC+ since 6/1.

They need starting pitching. The M's don't really have starting pitching prospects you'd send for a rental. So it's likely Castillo + $10M or you attach a couple prospects like Brock Rodden and Logan Evans that r MLB ready.

Has been only an 83 wRC+ hitter since 6/1. Has come crashing down to earth after a hot start. Probably won't touch 3 WAR this year.

You don't trade 3x top 10 prospect in a top 3 farm for that.

Why would the M's trade for a catcher owed $15M a year in Realmuto who is hitting horribly? Walker is the face of the Cards. Adell, Schmitt, Ramos aren't worth Kirby.
