Antes eu estava adiando assistir He-Man por causa das críticas, falar a verdade não queria nem assisti. Neste domingo o filme apareceu no Prime Video e resolvi dar uma chance. Cá pra nós: que filme fantástico!

Para quem cresceu assistindo He-Man e Thundercats, é uma experiência emocionante. A história respeita a essência do desenho: Adam é um homem compassivo que, por ter vivido na Terra sem conhecer a guerra, parece fraco. Mas, ao voltar para Eternia, redescobre quem realmente é. Quando Esqueleto o chama de frouxo, ele responde que conhece a própria força, apenas escolhe não usá-la. Essa cena resume perfeitamente o personagem.

O filme ainda presta homenagem ao clássico ao trazer Dolph Lundgren e, ao contrário do que disseram, não vi uma obra “woke”. Em vários momentos, como na placa “Adam, ele/dele”, me parece muito mais uma sátira ao wokeísmo do que uma promoção dessa agenda.

A transformação em He-Man, o Pacato se tornando o Gato Guerreiro e a referência à She-Ra é emocionante demais!

Para mim, foi um dos melhores filmes que já assisti e supera qualquer produção recente da Marvel. Se você cresceu com o desenho original, assista com a família. Dificilmente vai se arrepender.
