Report your employer for attempted murder if they’re forcing you to work in an unsafe environment - more so after one of your colleagues tested positive for the Corona Virus. #StaySafeUg
@PoliceUg if my employer is adamant about protecting the office against COVID-19 (like asking people to stay and work from home) even after one of the staffers has tested positive, can I file a case for attempted murder against said employer?

Mr. Mulindwa will lead the core research team that will be charged with holding the club’s vision of becoming the best club on the continent as well as managing the institution’s estates. https://t.co/iJadCzMihm
My main worry about the time when schools will be opened is how assessment will be done.
I really hope schools and universities are exploring options and will have practical solutions.
The issue of school fees and tuition should also be explored.
Out going Chief Justice Bart Katureebe has handed over office to the DCJ Alphonse Owiny-Dollo. Bart Katureebe clocked his retirement age and in a letter to the public, he said he wants people to know that "one can retire and go home".
I congratulate all the students who have been admitted to Makerere University on Government sponsorship. Your hard work has opened the gates of the Great Makerere for you to pursue a career at Africa’s greatest university. Congratulations!
It has come to my notice that an internal memo for discussion on arrangements to re-open the University for finalists has been shared on social media. The public should note that these are only proposals that are yet to be discussed by Management and Council.
The story in today’s New Vision on promotion of staff highlights Makerere’s strategy of moving to a research led university. The new Professors will increase the University’s capacity for research and innovation.
Currently, local politicians placed water tanks with soap, for everyone to monitor the wash hand guidelines .these tanks are now out of water and we shall need someone eating from the Gov't to ensure they're refilled. No one is going to refill for free.
Water, sanitation and hygiene facilities are critical to limiting infection spread and protecting health. Clean facilities, maintained by private sector partners, could offer services such as sorting bays and sanitising surfaces for vendors.
Secondly, modern African markets provide the perfect opportunity for water harvesting infrastructure. The roofs could collect water during rains, keep the market well-sanitised and supply customers and vendors with clean drinking water.
First, the vast roofs of markets are a perfect place to install solar panels, enabling markets to run on sustainable energy and power surrounding consumers and businesses.
If the Gov't cared for not only its stomachs,we can develop prototypes for “smart” markets designed to ensure health and safety and equipped to meet our food needs into the future. And what could an African Smart Market look like?
This was Bendicto Kiwanuka’s reaction to the colonial authorities when they deported Kabak Edward Mutesa for resisting the East African Federation and demanding Buganda’s independence.

The Hon. @JaneRuth_Aceng, @MinofHealthUG and @DianaAtwine have been nothing but relentless in their effort to keep Ugandans safe and I think it’s a tad unfortunate when foreigners come to our country amidst this global pandemic and they think we shall be cuddly. NO! #Covid_19
Some people have called out the Minister @MinofHealthUG Hon. @JaneRuth_Aceng for allegedly being out of line after telling one of the foreigners she was talking to; to shut up while she was talking. I think she was well within her rights.
The disrespect!
