Sierra Leone has one of the worse economies in the globe according to 2024 World Economic Freedom Index. The status of the Sierra Leone Economy is #Repressed.

Amongst the 176 countries rated, Sierra Leone is ranked 163 in the Globe and 41 out of 47 countries in the continent.

Even neighboring Liberia, Guinea and Ivory Coast are ranked far above Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone performed woefully on poverty rights, government integrity and fiscal health.

The Chinese and the Sierra Leonean government has approved a fish harbour without an environmental impact assessment, it implications will cause catastrophic devastation to the environmental and must be stopped.
