After “Believe Me” has been shown across Britain, the @metpoliceuk are now asking victims or anyone with further information to get in touch with their specialist team #stampoutspiking
Try not to post during the day (legal team worried I’ll drop a clanger)
BUT
Have to comment after that evidence.
Chair ‘can I ask who is in charge of the decisions. The clinician or the patient?’
Dr T ‘um……’
Says it all…..
Everything that is wrong in Psychiatry today.
Autonomy for patients must not override serious risk to others.
Treat your patients with what they need, not your fear of stigma or your ego!

Week 12. Day 1.
Bloody hell. Three months in.
Feels like we’ve been here for a lifetime; yet also it’s passed in a flash.
It’s a quick brain dump for now.
I want reflect more on psychiatry and the enormous role it’s played in our tragedy; but will do that later.
A first class piece was written over the weekend by the @Telegraph which deals with the impact of serious mental health ‘criminals’ and how the system does (or doesn’t) manage it or them, which I’ll also share.
Be back online this evening…
Here’s the live link for anyone who wants it:

So Notts NHS Mental Health fail to take minutes of any key multi disciplinary team meetings.
Yet…
a possibility they may be taken in a car park?? 😮
Yes, Dr Lloyd,
in a car park
With Gary Carter!
In a car park
With Gary Carter!
🔁
And the subject of the alleged ‘car park meeting’ that took place AFTER June 2023?
….To ensure hymn sheets being sung collectively about their failure to manage Calocane.
Watch the full evidence if you want an insight into how this team operates (this is my pov as always).
Full dissemination of the evidence given by Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Tuhina Lloyd to follow tomorrow.
Not quite sure where to start (and we thought we’d seen and heard it all)…

Late (and with great fury) my reflections on Week 10. Day 1.
Shambolic and unforgivable neglect of care and duty.
@NHSNotts you MUST take the appropriate actions against any members of your staff who have failed so appallingly.
We will call each and every single one out until you do.

End of day 3. Week 9.
Brief observations with content (to follow) used in the public evidence today.
Family History.
Chilling text exchanges.
Poor record keeping.
Poor attitude to risk.
More evasion and retrospective hypotheses.
#nottinghaminquiry 💚💛
On my way for Week 9. Day 3.
Reflecting on what I saw and heard yesterday.
And my opinions (of course).
We were NOT told the truth.
These were NOT credible witnesses.
There MUST now be consideration for further action to be taken.
Sadly: it seems that @NHSNotts staff are choosing to behave as shamefully as @nottspolice@leicspolice@CPSUK
Let’s hope I’m proven wrong (sincerely doubt I will be).

Amongst much else, the Crime and Policing Bill creates a new criminal offence of spiking. With the Bill soon becoming law, 15 months after first being introduced in Parliament, today I was pleased meet Dawn Dines of @StampOutSpiking. Dawn has campaigned on the issue for 20 years.
Our daughter had the best year of her life in your lovely city.
She loved the people and the welcome she received. One day she would’ve become a doctor in your city and repaid with kindness and compassion.
The parents of Barnaby Webber, who was killed by Valdo Calocane, have said they will ‘never forgive’ police officers who viewed footage and information relating to the attacks. @CDP1882 reports.

'It was distasteful and disgusting really.'
Emma Webber on hearing that her son's killer, Valdo Calocane, wasn't sectioned due to fears of racial discrimination.
'It wasn't just one mistake that lead to this tragedy. It was repeated failures over years and years.'
Emma Webber, mother of Nottingham attacks victim Barnaby Webber, calls for police to reveal the truth behind the failings that lead to her son's murder.
What brilliant news, we have been teaching on knifecrime awareness in secondary schools across Devon & Cornwall for many years now
