As part of our program at Peking University, we had the privilege of visiting the Forbidden City. Immersed in its grandeur, we were amazed by the way emperors lived centuries ago and by the enduring brilliance of Chinese civilization.

This study tour was both enlightening and inspiring, and we remain grateful to @PKU1898 for making such an experience possible.

In a meeting today, H.E. Prime Minister @HamzaAbdiBarre discussed the urgent climate crisis in Somalia with @MafaldaDuarte, Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund.

They emphasized the crucial need for comprehensive action and support in Somalia's Climate Change endeavors. Despite minimal global emissions, and albeit Somalia being at the forefront of the victim countries of climate change with severe drought and floods as a result of climate change, underscoring the vital significance of climate resilience.

Prime Minister Barre noted that the Somali government has implemented a whole government approach and a strategic plan focusing on both mitigation and adaptation measures.
