@davidboxenhorn Can we call political candidates DEI hires?
The goal is to win votes, picking diverse candidates (by ancestry, wealth, state of origin, etc) will appeal to a broader category of voters, so that is a +EV move.
While DEI in private companies pushes to hire less qualified, so -EV.
@PossibltyResult When context gets to a certain size, you summarise it. And save it to a RAG.
You can do recursive summary as in Raptor. (https://t.co/hKSKp42NwD)
Start a new LLM instance with summary of main context and you have a kind of reset.
@nntaleb@balajis Buy 1(BTC price in $/1M)BTC as hedge + 1BTC for the bet.
If BTC goes to 1M, you get the initial $ invested back.
Else you minimised exposure to BTC and get 1M$.
@SBF_FTX@SBF_Alameda I guess people reading this now will trust me a bit more. If you want to learn about betting size (applies to about anything), read this: https://t.co/a3mReBRzUB
@SBF_Alameda I would suggest to prioritize log wealth until a certain threshold (like fu money), then switching to a max EV mode.
The first rule is to survive.
@mathtick@SBF_Alameda Everyone was against me on this, so I tell them to get enough money (fu money) then gamble away the rest if that's their thing. Have to put water in your wine to be heard I guess.
