What xAI’s ToS (April 2026) actually say :

• The service is provided AS IS
• Quotas can be changed at their sole discretion
• No fixed quota is guaranteed

But EU law is stronger than their fine print.
Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content requires that before any substantial change to a paid service, the provider must notify you in advance on a durable medium and give you the right to cancel.

If that notice was never given, you can :

✅ Cancel immediately

✅ Request a pro rata refund (or full refund depending on your situation)

⚠️ Their AS IS clauses cannot override your EU consumer rights this is explicitly covered by the Directive.

👉 Don’t stay silent. The law exists for exactly this.
