Airships have a remarkable history in the World War Era. Italy was the first nation to deploy airships in WW1. Soon Germany, Russia, and USA followed with their own airship technology.
But this rich history came to an end when airplanes replaced airships for scouting and bombing.

Hindenburg was a grand 245-meter-long airship launched in Germany in march 1936 with a cruising speed of 126kmph. It met with an accident killing 35 people which officially marked the end of commercial airships.

The DELTAs conference was held at IIT Bombay. It hosted participants from 11 countries. SPART participated in it as well. We presented a poster and interacted with participants at our own dedicated stall.
It was a great success for the entire team.
