After missing the past 2 weeks of PE, due to bank holidays, it was safe to say EYFS enjoyed their first lesson back! We learnt about jumping for distance this week to go along with our athletics unit. Well done everybody! #StPBPE

Today, we looked at throwing a javelin. We were taught the correct technique to throw, and preformed the throw in small groups. Well done everybody! #StPBPE

This afternoon in PE, we looked at being able to run in different ways for a variety of purposes. The children described how the body feels when still and exercising! #StPBPE #StPBEYFS

Fun in the sun! This afternoon in PE, Gruffalo and Elmer had their final PE lesson before half term. Lots of progress made in our fundamental games unit. Well done everybody!

This afternoon in PE we continued to look at our throwing at a target objective. The children enjoyed these activities so much! To finish the lesson we played a fun game of hand tennis, with some adaptations. #StPBPE

Gruffalo class enjoyed their 2D shape hunt this morning. We found lots of circles, triangles, squares and rectangles in the environment and we were able to explain their properties. Well done! #StPBMaths
