@Acyn 1. tariffs are paid by taxpayers
2. grocery prices are through the roof due to Trump tariffs.
3. taxpayers will continue to pay high prices while bailing out farmers due to Trumps tarrifs.
@AmericaRus2024@micah_erfan the intent was good (45M+ insured), but universal healthcare/single payer would've been better. Far better investment than wasting money on foreign wars and tax cuts/breaks for the uber-wealthy.
@SPC_Harry@micah_erfan ACA was/is an absolute scam that has done nothing but massively increase healthcare costs while minting new billionaires. We have corrupt government and that is not going to change. Giving them more money will only make the problem larger.
@AmericaRus2024@micah_erfan we don't need small government, need smart government. 10 years of geriatric leadership does that to a country. ACA was just a starting point to Universal Healthcare. We would be there if we had fresh young minds putting citizens over corporate greed and foreign wars.
@AmericaRus2024@micah_erfan in all of your tweets you are always criticizing statements and ideas, but never offer up any of your own. i thought business owners loved telling their employees 'bring me solutions, not problems'. you should adopt this in your future posts and bring something to the table.
@AmericaRus2024@MikeyMike1559 kiosks were implemented years ago. if you're using automation as breakeven, why are fast food prices at record highs? shouldn't they have stabilized due to lower labor costs? no, because COGS are at all time highs.....which is due to inflation(tariffs+oil+supply chain)

@AmericaRus2024@MikeyMike1559 $14.50/hr should be for small businesses under 50 FTE's. 51+FTE's should be up near $21/hr+benefits. Not even sure either is on par with inflation. So may be lowballing it on both.
@JaqMehauff 'purely politically motivated' is proposing a change in the bylaws(no term limits for rector) in the 11th hour, then asking for a vote a month before the normal vote for rector. That term limit amendment would've only applied to him and no one else on the board.
@JaqMehauff if he was so confident in his abilities, why not wait until July 1st appointees to come on board and go through normal vote to select rector? why try to change bylaws and request a vote a month before?

@JaqMehauff making a one-time exception is one thing. following up on that by trying to eliminate term limits by sneaking it into June board meeting before new appointees arrive in July is suspect.
