Exciting to support this engagement with @IMMAIreland & Local/ Regional/ National Traveller groups, with the @NMIreland.
Community curation is utterly essential in the progression of community based narratives, understandings & ownership.
The works selected is so intriguing!

We are very excited about this new online art exhibition curated by CTWN members with @PaveePoint through @IMMAIreland citizen curation, with @Oeiny and @LMCDART

[Pavee Point @PaveePoint]

Great to get this opportunity for Travellers to engage and bring a particular #Traveller perspective to these works of art and @IMMAIreland collection.

[SPICE H2020 @SpiceH2020]

In 'Pride of Place', members of the Traveller community came to IMMA and selected artworks by Leanne McDonagh and Patricia Hurl, telling own stories through the act of citizen curation.

What will our future virtual realities look like? Or will there be any at all?

Super piece on inspiring VR projects being developed by @aaltomedialab, including the SPICE Project's VR Pop-up Museum, being co-designed with communities at @DesignmuseoFI.

"With the help of VR headsets, participants can get up close and personal with a range of popular and familiar design objects, and curators are on hand to facilitate discussion about the memories and emotions the objects have evoked."

We were v proud to demonstrate 'Virtual Empathy' at last week's ExICE conference. Developed by @stlab_cnr @AiUnibo with @gamtorino, this uses VR to help us experience another's perspective by embodying a virtual avatar with a different view on art.

This work leads to the possibility of using new immersive technologies to raise awareness of the difference and promote empathy between subjects belonging to different social groups.
