Another elephant found dead near Moraghat RF (Jalpaiguri, WB) in the paddy field of Mogulkata Forest Village today (17/11/21).
Signs of electrocution is prominent in the trunk of the https://t.co/6pBd8M4Uoj, the cause of the death is probably electrocution.

Our rescuer Manabendra Shil rescued 3 snakes with help of other members. With permission of house owner Shibu Das, they broke the floor and rescued 4 more snakes.The rescue process took almost 2 hours they were released in Chipra forest.

7 Juvenile Wall’s Krait (Bungarus Walli) have been rescued from a house in Kamakhyaguri Station Para area by three SPOAR members of Alipurduar,Kamakhyaguri unit Manabendra Shil,Tridev Sarkar,Sourav Saha.

First our rescuer Manabendra Shil rescued 3 snakes with help of other members.With permission of house owner Shibu Das, they broke the floor and rescued 4 more snakes.The rescue process took almost 2 hours and with the help of then all of them were released in Chipra Forest.#wild

Two brown hawk owl chics were thrown out of a coconut tree while harvesting. SPOAR Coochbehar team rescued the babies and handed over to the forest department. They're doing well. We can own trees but they're also shelter to many living creatures.

3 Gaurs were seen at Totapara Tea Garden on 5/5/20. Our #TotaparaQRT & forest officials drove two of them away. But they found the third one was badly wounded & collapsed. Few Tea Gardens are still using #Razor_fence & the poor Gaur became another victim.

A Chinese pangolin (Manis pentadactyla) was rescued yesterday from Ellenbari Tea garden, Jalpaiguri by our #Lishriver_QRT and handed over to Mal Wildlife Squad (Gorumara WL Divn.). As directed by The D.F.O. the beauty was released to Gorumara National Park.
