Aku Raty mix from this season. Prioritizes possession, great outside edge use to cut quick while maintaining both hands on his stick, good vision and rarely telegraphs a pass. Reminds me of Connor Brown a bit. Follows up the play very well. #LetsGoOilers
@go_oil More offensive in my viewings, played some PK minutes. Although not a PKer on his team I found his 5v5 defence to be above average. Doesn’t cheat.
Oilers have signed right-shot forward Aku Raty two a one-year, two-way deal with an NHL AAV of $850K.
Raty was a 5th round pick of the Coyotes in 2019. He played two seasons in the AHL but returned to Finland last season and produced 20-37-57 in 51 games with Karpat.
New for @OilersNation: Paul Fischer year in review. My favourite defensemen in the Oilers pipeline keeps climbing in my rankings. From offence to defence, the Notre Dame defender can do a bit of it all. #LetsGoOilers

Now that KHL Playoffs are over and @EdmontonOilers prospect Maxim Berezkin is a 2-time Gagarin Cup Champion with Yaroslavl Lokomotiv...don't be surprised if the Oilers sign the 6'4", 212 LB winger.

Foreshadowing of my first "year in review" article. Paul Fischer is very intriguing. The Notre Dame dman holds a strong gap, gives opposing players little space to make a play, and when he has the puck he is able to create with it. Excellent vision and great lateral mobility. #LetsGoOilers
#Oilers prospect Samuel Jonsson (158th overall, 2022) made 38 saves in a 5-3 win for the Fort Wayne Komets last night!
Jonsson now has a 6-1-0 record with a 1.71 goals against average, a .947 save percentage and two shutouts in seven ECHL playoff games as a rookie this year! #LetsGoOilers
