Today @SPhillips2622 and I participated in a Social Studies training led by @drojas_5 on Navigating Spatial Thinking and Map Skills. He even planned a field trip where we visited different places in Texas on a giant Texas Map. Thank you for the amazing PD!

Today @BeaverMST_Stars 2nd graders used @PearDeck to compare and contrast passages! They used the highlighting tool to find keywords, and then filled out a Venn diagram comparing football and soccer! Thank you to @DigitalGISD for coming out and helping us with PearDeck! 🤩💙

With Election Day tomorrow our 2nd Graders held our own Cookie Election! @BeaverMST_Stars voted between Oreo and Chocolate Chip. We discussed the importance of elections, ballots, candidates, registering to vote, age requirements, privacy and much more! WTG Chocolate Chip!
