@RichardHanania Early subscriber here (Aug '22-when Weiss was still on substack)...it's hard to believe, but this illustrates just how out of touch thought leaders on the left really are.
🔥NEW: Clarence Thomas — full remarks on progressivism, its foundations, history, and impact from his appearance at University of Texas at Austin:
“Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao were all intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our Declaration is based.”
"Many progressives expressed admiration for each of them shortly before their governments killed tens of millions of people."
"It comes as no surprise that the progressives embraced eugenics... It was only a small step for Wilson to resegregate the federal workforce."
"It was only another step for the government to launch sterilization programs on those deemed by the experts of the day to be unfit to reproduce."
“European thinkers have long criticized America for remaining trapped in a Lockean world, with its weakened, decentralized government and strong individual rights. They say our 18th-century Declaration has prevented us from progressing to higher forms of government."
"But we were fortunate not to trade our Lockean bonds for the supposedly enlightened world of Hegel, Marx, and their followers. Fascism, which after all was national socialism, triggered wars in Europe and Asia that killed tens of millions."
"The socialism of the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China proceeded to kill tens of millions more of their own people. This is what happens when natural rights give way to higher-good notions of history or progress, or, as Thomas Sowell has written, the visions of the anointed."
"None of this, of course, was an improvement on the principles of the Declaration. Tocqueville's Democracy in America is largely about how America owed its superiority over Europe to its conscious decision to reject central planning and administrative rule, root and branch."
"Progressivism, in other words, is retrogressive.”
$CODA Wow pretty good breakout here on 5 times the 90 day average volume. Cool story. Their 5D and 6D sonars provide photographic quality under-sea images. And the new Diver Augmented Video Display is already being deployed to Navy divers. No debt and 2 bucks a share in cash too.
Hayek was asked to leave “a statement for the future generations.” His response is brilliant:
“Modern civilization which enables us to maintain 4 billion people was made possible by the institution of private property. It is only thanks to this institution that we achieved an extensive order far exceeding anybody’s knowledge.”
“If you destroy that moral basis, which consists in the recognition of private property, we will destroy the sources which nourish present-day mankind, and create a catastrophe of starvation beyond anything mankind has yet experienced.”
Why are the people in power so afraid of @RobertKennedyJr? Have YOU also been brainwashed to see him as the villain?
Ask yourself:
1. Shouldn’t federal health agencies like the FDA, CDC, and NIH be transparent and free from corporate influence? These institutions are meant to protect public health, yet they often seem more aligned with corporate interests than with the people they serve. Wouldn’t we all benefit from an overhaul to restore integrity and accountability?
2. Why is pharmaceutical advertising on TV still allowed? These ads don’t just push unnecessary medications—they also control the media by providing billions in ad revenue. How can we expect honest reporting on health issues when networks rely on Big Pharma’s money to stay afloat?
3. Don’t we deserve dietary guidelines that prioritize real, whole foods over the ultra-processed junk that contributes to obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases? Why are we being told to cut back on natural, nutrient-dense foods like meat, while subsidized processed foods dominate our supermarkets?
4. Shouldn’t we work to remove harmful chemicals like endocrine disruptors, pesticides, herbicides, artificial dyes, and others, from our environment and consumer products? These substances are linked to rising rates of infertility, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. Why isn’t there more urgency to protect the public from these toxins?
5. And when it comes to vaccines, wouldn’t it make sense to advocate for informed choice and rigorous safety studies? If they are as safe and effective as claimed, what’s wrong with making the process more transparent and ensuring public trust?
If these ideas seem like common sense—and they clearly prioritize the health and well-being of Americans—why is RFK Jr. met with such hostility? What are his critics so afraid of? Could it be that his proposals threaten the profits and power of those who’ve benefited from a sick and uninformed population?
The real question isn’t about RFK Jr.’s ideas—it’s about what those opposing him are trying so desperately to protect.
For all the incessant talk about Donald Trump's rhetoric, he would never describe half of the American population as "garbage." That's the kind of seething, anti-American contempt that you only find among Democrat elites.
We are currently experiencing a multitude of technical breakouts in the precious metals industry.
I can't recall a time when I've seen so many historical moves in this space.
Here are my 6 favorite chart setups.

Remarkable monologue from David Sacks:
"The Democratic party is a collection of interests who want to remain in power. The Democratic Party is the party of government. Its goal is to allocate money and power from the government to the collection of interests who back the Democratic Party. In other words, it's basically a collection of interests who want to loot the Republic.
Well obviously, no one's going to vote for that. So they have to make it about something else. They choose a figurehead, they talk about how this is about saving democracy. They basically invent, hoax after hoax, lie after lie to basically maintain their power.
And I think what's happened is, the mask has come off, the whole shell game has been revealed. It's obvious that Biden was always a puppet for these interests who were hiding behind him. And now, it's all being exposed."
Ep. 71 Bret Weinstein traveled to the Darien Gap to understand who's behind the invasion of our country. His conclusion: “it's not a friendly migration.”
@DickDragonPriv1 This is true. The business model is to develop treatments rather than cures, since treatments result in better follow-on revenue streams. I remember stock analysts fretting about Gilead blowing up the model when Sovaldi was introduced for Hep C.
