Yesterday on placement I told a consultant on my ward that I wasn't too confident in identifying heart murmurs as I hadn't heard many in the past. Today he came and found me and seemed so excited to tell me that he'd found one that I could listen to.

You are carted off to an emergency department, where the doctors only have a vague understanding of your disease.
Being able to walk into a hospital and ask for medical help without first having to explain in detail how you plan to pay is an incredible thing that we shouldn’t ever take for granted. It isn’t like that everywhere. We’re a very lucky island. #NHS70
