@EricTyler001@TRobinsonNewEra Hmm probably true, but in Texas he'd come armed with a gun...
The numbers would definitely be higher than 1 dead & 2 injured
@Sandford_Police 29yo Ross Springham suffered from severe paranoia and psychosis. Assessed in hospital a month prior after being found naked.
After this footage (made up sex worker story) he was sent HMP Wandsworth. Took his own life less than a month later.
Negligence. R.I.P
Sorry, but anyone that thinks this is a win for US and the West should reconsider.
Iran has followed through with their previous threats and made a statement.
Practically warning shots.
A U.S. Defense Official has stated that all 3 of the Iranian Medium-Range Ballistic Missiles attempting to Target an Airbase in Southern Israel that were Downed last night by the United States, were Intercepted by U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-Class Guided-Missiles Destroyers in the Eastern Mediterranean utilizing their Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System to Track and Target the Missiles before launching Standard Missile-3s (SM-3) to Intercept.
@MattWallace888 Why?
If 'WW3 breaks out', which it won't, he wouldn't have influence on the outcome.
1. A puppet figure, a face. Decision-making comes from behind him.
2. There's no winners, human civilisation would collapse. Those left, would have to survive on a devastated, barren planet.
@MattWallace888 Capital letters and WW3 warnings...no chance.
I think Iran will possibly launch a few drone/missile attacks. Minimal damage/casualties but enough to make their point.
West&East will de-escalate the conflict, neither side wants a full scale (potentially nuclear) war.
@elonmusk But economics...
Now dual workers struggle the same way single working households did in the past. Increased workforce,more income =higher prices.
Governments have been aware of population decline for decades, but allow the wealthy higher order to squeeze every drop possible.
@elonmusk Just the backstory that shaped our amazing modern world we know.
The advance altered social equality for the good. E.g. more rights for women, the expectation for them to stay at home and not work/create their own future was gone.
@dippedngold@UnoCnco@PEWilliams_ Hahaha I get your query! I guess the way you're taught just sticks, but it makes sense to me
e.g. coordinates (3,4)
1st number is X - along the corridor
2nd number is Y - up the stairs
@UnoCnco@PEWilliams_ Sad i know, but I've found it slightly interesting how people have different ways to remember which is which on an XY axis.
For me...
X: along the corridor
Y: up the stairs
@historyinmemes Insane that this little red dot on the world map is the origin of the largest empire the world has ever seen. Nearly 1/4(23%) of the world's population and nearly 1/4 of the world's land mass under its control.
@Culture_Crit Some truly magnificent buildings!
But practically modern structures; replicating architectural styles developed in Europe through a complex and intertwined history.
I understand and respect the influence, but appreciation lies with cathedrals built many hundreds of years before.
@pudbugget@Evette556@RealonX@historyinmemes Yet they were tracked down & aired live for an emotional 'surprise' birthday message?
Could definitely find them if he really wanted to... Big name in both TV&Radio, access to a massive audience.
Also knew their names, where they lived, and most likely where they worked...
@historyinmemes Amazing story, but why did this become a 'surprise' reunion anyway?
30 years earlier, Steve had nothing & this couple gave so much.
He then made it big time & never repaid the favour? Or even keep in touch.
Shameful.
@historyinmemes Untrue&unfortunately widely shared view.
A castles primary objective prevent enemy entering. If they're charging up the staircase, outcome has been set...
Also no clear advantage to attacker or defender in a steep, confined space practically no room to swing a weapon
Worth mentioning US adopted art of deception from Britain.
They used 'dummy tank' tactics nearly 30 years earlier in WW1 & improved it further North Africa Campain(1940-1943).
Highly recommend reading British deception, it altered events and changed the course of the war.
In 1944, the U.S. created the first tactical deception unit, also known as the "Ghost Army," to deceive the Nazis during World War II. This unit consisted of 1,023 handpicked soldiers and 82 officers. They employed various tactics, including sound effects, fake radio orders, and inflatable tanks and jeeps. The U.S. army also enlisted artists, photographers, and fashion designers to enhance their realism. Together, they successfully simulated an army of approximately 30,000 soldiers.
The Ghost Army commenced their "traveling road shows" a few months after D-Day in France and continued until the end of the war, completing approximately 20 missions along the front lines of France.
Interestingly, the existence of the Ghost Army remained a military secret for 40 years until it was declassified in 1996.
China's expansion of renewable energy has been impressive. Potentially even outpacing their own targets. No doubt they will be the king of green!
But EUROPE+USA population(1.1b) while China(1.4b). The data in comparison to this doesn't justify the title just yet
China is the king of green!
Over the last decade #China has invested more in green tech than the US & Europe combined.
China has more installed capacity, patents & manufacturing capacity in wind, solar & hydropower.

@thewarfarebook @wars sorry, you may have misunderstood, but this is incorrect.
This is a famous image of Evgeny Stepanovich Kobytev, a 'Soviet soldier' WW2.

Right pic: 1945 post war
@WhySoShawn @KimDotcom Will never be a definitive figure; but generally, studies/estimates suggest around 1 billion firearms worldwide. 85% of which are civillian owned.
In America, there's an estimated 120 firearms per 100 residents. So roughly 4% of the world's population own over 40% of firearms
