@Landonforward14 This is not the take you think it is. The changes will cause people to fall through the cracks. When they do, they land in the city in the most in expensive way possible. City social service, emergency services, shelters, etc. Failure to address the root cause will cost you.

It’s not good when someone else either decides you don’t deserve decent QoL, or that you just could never have a decent QoL because of disability.

@daleethompson Except it’s not "voluntary or dignified" when instead of being offered the supports and treatments people need instead doctors and nurses are suggesting to patients that MAID is either their best or only option—this is called coercion through denial of adequate care.
