@sportbible Justice wasn't done, the game went in to extra time, Barbados scored the goal that gave them the 4-2 victory that put them through. The rule was scrapped soon after.. 5/5
@sportbible 2-2 and extra time beckoning. Cue three minutes of farcial football where Grenada are trying to score in either goal with Barbados frantically defending both nets. 4/5
@sportbible Barbados took a 2 goal lead but Grenada made it 2-1 on the 83rd minute.
This meant Grenada were in the driving seat and Barbados HAD to score. However after a few more minutes of attacking, Barbados switched tactics, ran up their own end and scored a deliberate own goal. 3/5
@sportbible Pretty straightforward - however a strange rule was imposed in the qualifying tournament, every match must have a winner. If the two teams drew in 90 minutes, then they would go to sudden death extra time, where the golden goal would be counted as two goals. 2/5
@sportbible The Shell Caribbean Cup : 1994. And a bizarre match between Barbados & Grenada.
Going into the last group game Barbados needed to beat Grenada by two goals to qualify for the final stages. Anything less and Grenada went through. 1/5
🎵🎵I’ve been to the year 3000, not much has changed but the Prime Minister confirms a four-week delay to the lifting of all restrictions in England beyond 21 June 🎵🎵
@1BJDJ Shame, because it has been, on occasion, terrific TV. Lindsay Denton (Keeley Hawes) is one of the all time great TV characters, it’s worth watching just for her performance. But, yeah, the ending was a damp squib.
