Данас се навришило двадесет седам година од усвајања Резолуције 1244 СБ УН.

Сталним кршењем ове резолуције озбиљно су нарушена права наших грађана који живе у АП КиМ али и Републике Србије у целини.

Веома је важно да управо данас подсетимо да међународно право не може бити ствар избора и политичке погодности.

Када се обавезујуће одлуке Савета безбедности УН поштују селективно, не слаби само позиција Србије, слаби поверење у читав међународни поредак. Право које не важи једнако за све, престаје да буде право.

Штитећи своју позицију Србија штити универзалне вредности.

On this day in 1999, the #UnitedNations Security Council adopted #Resolution1244, which reaffirmed the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, whose legal successor is the Republic of #Serbia.

As a valid and binding act of the @UN Security Council, Resolution 1244 remains the cornerstone of the international legal framework governing the issue of #KosovoAndMetohija. Its significance lies not only in safeguarding Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, but also in reaffirming the principles upon which the contemporary international order is founded, respect for the #UN harter, international law, and the sovereign equality of states.

Serbia will continue to advocate consistently for #peace, dialogue, and the resolution of all outstanding issues through political means, in full accordance with international law and its legitimate state and national interests.

На данашњи дан 1999. године Савет безбедности Уједињених нација усвојио је Резолуцију 1244, којом су потврђени суверенитет и територијални интегритет Савезне Републике Југославије, чији је правни следбеник Република Србија.

Као важећи и обавезујући акт Савета безбедности УН, Резолуција 1244 остаје темељ међународноправног оквира за питање Косова и Метохије. Њен значај огледа се не само у заштити суверенитета и територијалног интегритета Србије, већ и у потврди принципа на којима почива савремени међународни поредак, поштовања Повеље УН, међународног права и суверене једнакости држава.

Србија ће наставити да се доследно залаже за мир, дијалог и решавање свих отворених питања политичким средствима, уз пуно поштовање међународног права и легитимних државних и националних интереса.

Генерални секретар Министарства спољних послова Душан Козарев отворио је у Бечу пријем за полазнике 15. класе Високих студија безбедности и одбране, у организацији Амбасаде Републике Србије у Аустрији @SRBinAustria.

Обраћајући се присутнима, Козарев је представио структуру дипломатско-конзуларне мреже Србије у Аустрији и истакао значај српске дијаспоре у даљем јачању билатералних односа две земље. О важности сарадње дипломатског и безбедносног сектора говорили су и амбасадор Србије у Бечу Марко Благојевић и потпуковник Дејан Тепавац.

Током дводневне посете Бечу, Козарев је заједно са полазницима ВСБО посетио седиште Уједињених нација @UN_Vienna, као и Сталну мисију Републике Србије при ОЕБС-у и другим међународним организацијама @SRBinOSCE.

У оквиру посете УН у Бечу организовано је предавање на тему „Напредни програм студија безбедности и одбране Републике Србије“.

Пријем за полазнике у Сталној мисији Републике Србије при ОЕБС-у и другим међународним организацијама угостио је амбасадор Жарко Обрадовић, који је учесницима представио рад Мисије.

We strongly condemn the draconian and politically motivated decision to impose one-month detention on #Serb representatives from #Gračanica, including leaders of key Serbian health and educational institutions serving the local community.

This move comes against the backdrop of clear efforts by the regime in #Pristina to intimidate the Serbian population and shape the political environment ahead of upcoming elections in favor of its preferred candidates.

Such abuse of #institutional and #judicial mechanisms not only undermines basic rights and democratic standards, but also directly threatens the functioning of vital institutions on which the Serbian community depends.

History has recorded many events that have left a lasting mark on the international order. The NATO aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on March 24, 1999, carried out without approval from the @UN Security Council, is certainly one of them.

This tragic period went far beyond being a milestone in the lives of the #Serbian people, marking a time of profound loss, hardship, and enduring consequences for our country.

Over the 78 days of military action, 14,000 bombs were dropped, more than 2,000 missiles fired, and 30.000–50.000 units of depleted uranium munitions were used. Civilian areas were hit during the attacks, including residential neighborhoods, hospitals, schools, bridges, public transport, and refugee convoys. Thousands of people were killed, including 89 children.

Yet, despite these misfortunes, we grew stronger and prouder, forging a future oriented nation, still true to its #dignity and its #freedom.

Today, we pay tribute to all the innocent #victims, and we solemnly #remember those we lost. They will always be in our minds, our hearts, and our prayers. We owe it to them, and to ourselves, to ensure that such a tragedy never happens again.

The memory of March 24, 1999, remains deeply etched in the collective consciousness of our people, the day when, without a decision of the @UN Security Council, the bombing of the Federal Republic of #Yugoslavia began, in violation of international law and the fundamental principles on which the modern international order is based.

For 78 days, our country was devastated, bridges, hospitals, schools, media outlets, and cultural sites were destroyed. Around 3,500 people lost their lives, including 89 children, while thousands were injured. Lives were cut short in homes, workplaces, and on the streets, while human tragedy was reduced to so-called “collateral damage.”

This was not only an attack on one country, but also a blow to the principles of international law, sovereignty, and justice. The consequences of such a precedent are still felt today, serving as a reminder of how a rules-based system becomes sensitive and unstable when its fundamental principles are disregarded.

#Serbia remembers. With respect for the victims and guided by its own experience, we remain committed to upholding the #UNCharter, dialogue, and the peaceful resolution of disputes, determined to preserve truth, dignity, and the right to ensure that such injustices never happen again.

Сећање на 24. март 1999. године остаје дубоко урезано у колективно памћење нашег народа, дан када је, без одлуке Савета безбедности УН, започето бомбардовање Савезне Републике Југославије, супротно међународном праву и основним принципима на којима почива савремени светски поредак.

Током 78 дана, разарана је наша земља, рушени су мостови, болнице, школе, медијске куће и културна добра. Страдало је око 3.500 људи, међу њима и 89 деце, док су хиљаде рањене. Животи су прекидани у домовима, на радним местима, на улицама, а људска трагедија сведена је на „колатералне штете“.

Овај чин није био само напад на једну државу, већ и ударац на принципе међународног права, суверенитета и правде. Последице таквог преседана осећају се и данас, као опомена колико је систем, заснован на правилима, осетљив и нестабилан, када се занемаре његови фундаментални принципи.

Србија памти. Са поштовањем према жртвама и свешћу о сопственом искуству, настављамо да се залажемо за поштовање Повеље УН, дијалог и мирно решавање спорова, одлучни да чувамо истину, достојанство и право да се овакве неправде више никада не понове.

Speaking by phone with @OSCE Secretary General @OSCESecGen, I briefed him on the current situation in #KosovoandMetohija, with particular emphasis on the position of #Serbs and the role of the OSCE Mission on site.

I underscored that #Belgrade expects the OSCE to continue its full-scale monitoring, documentation and reporting on the position of our people in the southern province and their human and political #rights, highlighting the many #challenges they face on a daily basis.

Consistent and impartial #engagement by the OSCE, alongside close cooperation and information-sharing, remains essential for maintaining #stability and fostering trust among communities.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, spoke by phone with the OSCE Secretary General, Feridun Sinirlioğlu, about the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, with particular emphasis on the position of Serbs and the role of the OSCE Mission on the ground.

The head of Serbian diplomacy stressed that Belgrade expects the OSCE to continue, without reduction, to monitor, document, and report on the position and respect for the collective political and human rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, pointing to the numerous challenges the Serbian people faces on a daily basis.

Канцеларија за борбу против дрога Владе Републике Србије, предвођена директором Миланом Пекићем, учествовала је на 69. заседању Комисије за наркотике у седишту УН у Бечу. Том приликом, делегација Р. Србије организовала је пратећи догађај под називом „Јачање међународне сарадње ради смањења потражње за дрогама“. Догађај је отворио стални представник Р. Србије при ОЕБС и другим међународним организацијама у Бечу амбасадор проф. др Жарко Обрадовић.

The Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, led by Director Milan Pekić, participated in the 69th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs at the UN headquarters in Vienna, where it hosted a side event. The event, titled “Advancing Collaboration for the Continuum of Care in Drug Demand Reduction,” was opened by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Prof. Dr. Žarko Obradović.

Делегација Републике Србије, на челу са министром правде Ненадом Вујићем, учествовала је на Глобалном самиту о борби против превара у Бечу, који је окупио преко хиљаду учесника, међу којима високе званичнике, представнике међународних организација, приватног сектора и академске заједнице из целог света. На маргинама Самита, министар Вујић је имао и бројне билатералне сусрете.

Delegation of the Republic of Serbia, led by Minister of Justice Mr. Nenad Vujić, took part in the Global Fraud Summit in Vienna, which brought together over 1,000 participants, including high-level officials and representatives from international organizations, private sector, and global academic community. On the sidelines of the Summit, Minister Vujić held a number of bilateral meetings.

Интервенцијом Мисије Републике Србије у Бечу данас је спречен покушај истицања и промовисања симбола терористичке организације „УЧК“ током Конференције „Zero Project“, која се одржава тренутно у просторијама Уједињених нација.

Надлежне службе УН промптно су реаговале и уклониле спорни предмет са амблемом УЧК, осигуравајући да истицање таквих симбола током скупа неће бити дозвољено.

Following an intervention by the Mission of the Republic of Serbia in Vienna, an attempt to display and promote the symbols of the terrorist organization “KLA” was prevented today at the “Zero Project” Conference, currently taking place at the United Nations premises.

UN officials responded swiftly, removing the item bearing the KLA emblem and ensuring that the display of such symbols would not be permitted during the event.

🇷🇸 Поводом Сретења - Дана државности Србије и Дана Војске Србије, у📍Бечу је одржан свечани пријем који је окупио бројне истакнуте званице из области дипломатије, политике, привреде, културе, представнике Српске православне цркве и Руске православне цркве, као и српске заједнице.

Посебну част учинио је председник Парламента 🇦🇹 Валтер Розенкранц, који је у свом обраћању присутнима истакао блиске односе две државе, значај српске дијаспоре и пријатељске везе које повезују 🇷🇸 и 🇦🇹.

Амбасадор 🇷🇸 у 🇦🇹 Марко Благојевић и амбасадор Жарко Обрадовић (@SRBinOSCE) обратили су се присутнима, подсетивши на историјски значај Сретења за српски народ. Истакли су да овај датум представља симбол државности, националног јединства и континуитета.

У свом обраћању амбасадор Благојевић осврнуо се и на резултате остварене током претходне године, са нагласком на активности усмерене ка српској дијаспори, као и на унапређење сарадње између 🇷🇸 и 🇦🇹.

Посебно је истакао званичну посету савезног канцелара Кристијана Штокера Београду као потврду добрих билатералних односа. Такође, информисао је о одлуци председника 🇷🇸 Александра Вучића да одликује истакнуте аустријске званичнике, генерал-мајора Михаела Такача, генералног директора Савезне полиције, и г. Максимилијана Крауса, члана Градског већа Беча, што додатно потврђује висок ниво и квалитет међусобних веза између две државе.

🎶 За сјајан уметнички програм побринуо се Београдски акустични оркестар, представљајући богатство српске музичке баштине кроз избор нумера из различитих музичких епоха, али и бројне иностране нумере изведене у јединственом руху.

Амбасада Србије захваљује свим званицама које су својим присуством увеличале прославу овог значајног државног празника, као и спонзорима чијом подршком је омогућено одржавање свечаног пријема.

As part of the international community, together with representatives of Priština, marks and celebrates the anniversary of the secessionist act of the unilaterally declared independence of so-called Kosovo, we remind the international public that the Republic of Serbia does not recognize, has never recognized, and will never recognize the unilateral secessionist acts adopted on this date in 2008.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia considers it its duty to point out the evident double standards that continue to weigh heavily on contemporary international relations and seriously undermine trust in international law.

The unilateral declaration of independence of so-called Kosovo constituted a grave and flagrant violation of international law, as well as of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an internationally recognized member state of the UN. It ran counter to the fundamental principles enshrined in the UN Charter, which clearly affirm the inviolability of internationally recognized borders. Disregarding these principles opened a dangerous “Pandora’s box,” setting a precedent that has destabilized numerous regions around the world and encouraged unilateral and separatist actions, further eroding the foundations of the international legal order and confidence in the consistent application of its norms.

One cannot, on the one hand, firmly and consistently insist on respect for the territorial integrity of certain states, while at the same time justifying its violation in the case of Serbia. Such a selective application of principles not only calls into question the universality of international law, but also sends a deeply troubling message that the rules of international relations are not applied equally to all.

At the same time, members of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija are facing some of the most serious human rights violations on European soil. Subjected to daily pressure and ongoing intimidation, they are struggling to remain on their centuries-old ancestral lands, while in the 21st century their fundamental rights — including freedom of movement and access to healthcare and education — are being systematically curtailed.

It is therefore legitimate to ask whether those who mark and celebrate this date today also remember the more than 200,000 Serbs expelled from their homes, as well as the hundreds of desecrated and destroyed religious and cultural sites, including some of the most significant Serbian shrines in Kosovo and Metohija — or whether these sufferings, too, are being quietly consigned to oblivion.

Guided by the conviction that our dispute is not, and must not be, with the Albanian people, but rather with dangerous ideas and policies that deepen divisions and obstruct the search for lasting and sustainable solutions, the Republic of Serbia remains firmly committed to a policy of peace, dialogue, and consistent respect for international law as the only reliable foundation for long-term security and stability in the region. At the same time, in accordance with international law and its constitutional obligations, Serbia will continue to steadfastly and resolutely protect the rights, security, and survival of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.

И ове године, на данашњи дан, када део међународне заједнице заједно са представницима Приштине обележава и слави годишњицу сецесионистичког чина једнострано проглашене независности тзв. Косова, подсећамо међународну јавност да Република Србија не признаје, није признала и неће признати једностране сецесионистичке акте донете на данашњи дан 2008. године.
Министарство спољних послова Републике Србије дужно је да укаже на очигледне двоструке стандарде који и даље оптерећују савремене међународне односе и озбиљно поткопавају поверење у међународно право.

Једнострано проглашење независности тзв. Косова представљало је озбиљно и флагрантно кршење међународног права, као и суверенитета и територијалног интегритета међународно признате државе чланице Уједињених нација, супротно темељним принципима садржаним у Повељи УН, који јасно потврђују неповредивост међународно признатих граница. Игнорисање ових принципа отворило је опасну „Пандорину кутију“, стварајући преседан који је нарушио стабилност на бројним меридијанима света и подстакао унилатералне и сепаратистичке потезе, додатно слабећи темеље међународног правног поретка и поверење у доследну примену његових норми.

Не може се, с једне стране, одлучно и принципијелно инсистирати на поштовању територијалног интегритета појединих држава, а истовремено оправдавати његово кршење у случају Србије. Таква селективна примена принципа не само да доводи у питање универзално важење међународног права, већ шаље и дубоко забрињавајућу поруку да у међународним односима не постоје једнака правила за све.

Истовремено, припадници српског народа на Косову и Метохији суочавају се са неким од најфлагрантнијих облика кршења људских права на европском тлу. Изложени свакодневним притисцима и континуираном застрашивању, Срби на Косову и Метохији грчевито се боре за опстанак на својим вековним огњиштима, док им се у 21. веку систематски ограничавају основна права, укључујући слободу кретања, као и приступ здравственој заштити и образовању.

Зато се с правом намеће питање да ли се они који данас обележавају и славе овај датум сете и више од 200.000 протераних Срба из својих домова, као и стотина оскрнављених и уништених верских и културних објеката, међу којима су и неке од највећих српских светиња на Косову и Метохији, или се и та страдања прећутно препуштају забораву.

Полазећи од уверења да наш спор није и не сме бити спор са албанским народом, већ са опасним идејама и политикама које продубљују поделе и отежавају постизање трајних и одрживих решења, Република Србија остаје чврсто опредељена за политику мира, дијалога и доследног поштовања међународног права, као јединог поузданог темеља дугорочне безбедности и стабилности у региону. Истовремено, у складу са међународним правом и својим уставним обавезама, Србија ће наставити да доследно и одлучно штити права, безбедност и опстанак српског народа на Косову и Метохији.
